Sketchbook Tour #5
It’s time for another Sketchbook Tour! This is my most recent sketchbook. I started it on June 29th and finished it on July 23rd—that’s pretty fast for me! I did a lot of the sketches outside, including Robert Frost’s barn and a lean-to in the Adirondacks. I sketched a lot of different subjects, and experimented with a variety of techniques. I hope you enjoy the video!
As always, thanks for watching, and happy sketching!

Watching this was so relaxing, informative and inspiring ,James.
I’ll watch it again! As an aside — I grew up spending time in the Adirondacks, and have childhood memories of 13th Lake and that neck of the woods… my parents were good friends with the couple who owned Log House, ( now called Garner Hill Lodge) and we would stay there. I was very young, but I remember it so clearly!
Love a sketchbook tour!
